The Trustees are pleased to report a grant award to Huby Playground Appeal.
The Huby Playground Appeal aims to continue the safe provision of an outdoor play area for the residents of Huby and surrounding villages. They aim to provide a safe, fun, engaging and stimulating environment for outdoor play and leisure for children. Our main objectives are:
Encouraging physical activity for children's health and wellbeing.
Provide a meeting point for families, parents, care givers to meet others for social interaction which help reduce isolation and loneliness in our community.
Provide interactive play to help with learning through imaginative, sensory and role play.
Protect a local green space asset for the community.
The grant will go towards the cost of replacing the the current wooden fence and gate for a more sustainable, robust metal railings.
