The trustees are pleased to report a grant award to The York Archaeological Trust. YAT is the owner and operator of the world famous JORVIK Viking Centre.
The JORVIK Viking Centre was one of the many homes and businesses in York that suffered substantial flood damage in December 2015. The centre remains closed and aims to re-open by spring 2017.
This grant will help YAT, an independent educational charity, to continue its charitable mission and create a new interactive, heritage experience at the home of the Vikings in York for generations to come.
