The trustees are pleased to report a grant award to Upfaders.
Upfaders is Yorks groundbreaking youth music technology project. Since 2008 they have been providing vital opportunities for young modern musicians in York who are facing a disadvantage – Djing, MCing, Music Production, Artistic development, performances, mentoring, musical collaboration and improvisation. Upfaders is a trusted, viable pathway back into training and socialisation for any young person, no matter how severe their disadvantage or support needs. They support people who have a passion for music aged 13-25, and have different strands to our delivery to suit different levels of interest, support and ability.
