The Wednesday Club Ellerton

The Trustees are pleased to report a second grant award to The Wednesday Club, Ellerton.  York.

The Wednesday Club is a non-profit making social club, run by volunteers, to help bring together those who are isolated from friends and family.  The club combats social isolation and loneliness by offering door-to-door assisted and accessible transport to Ellerton Village Hall every week for a decent meal, company and chat.

The grant will contribute towards the cost of meals each Wednesday over 36 weeks of the year and fully fund 12 monthly excursions.
