The Joseph Rowntree Theatre

The Trustees are please to report a grant has been pledged to The Joseph Rowntree Theatre. The theatre is a venue that is operated by the community for the community.  With 365 seats they accommodate a wide range of productions throughout the year.

The grant will help support their Raise the Roof campaign which has three primary objectives:

1. to replace the fly tower flat roof and install solar panels;

2. remove the tiles from the main auditorium roof, install insulation and reinstate the original tiles, replacing any worn or damaged tiles;

3. replace the building lighting within the auditorium with an LED system
