Home Start, York.

The Trustees are pleased to report a further grant award to Home Start, York.

Home Start York was established in 1988 as a voluntary organisation. Committed to supporting parents with at least one child under the age of six, volunteers visit families in their own homes each week, offering support, friendship and practical help. This family-centred support strengthens and empowers families. Positive intervention in early years can prevent issues from developing further and enables parents to find their own way forward – to achieve lasting change. They also run structured groups for parents with children 0-2 and a school readiness programme, supporting parents and children on their journey into education.
