Marie Curie

The trustees are pleased to report they have made a second grant to Marie Curie to help support their nursing services in York and surrounding areas. The grant will cover 50% of the costs for one nurse over the period of a year.

Marie Curie offer free nursing care to people with all terminal illnesses across the UK, as well as support for family and friends. The nurses generally provide one-to-one nursing care and support overnight in your home, usually for eight or nine hours.
