The trustees are pleased to report a grant award to Live Music Now.
Live Music Now North East is based in York and is responsible for the delivery of work across the whole of the Yorkshire area -both rural and urban. They work to develop strong local partnerships with health, education and cultural organisations to ensure that their work is sustainable and relevant to local need. The early career musicians who are based locally are trained to develop their professional musical skills to connect and communicate with those who have little opportunity to access live music. Their work in York includes delivery of projects in partnership with SNAPPY and Woodlands Neurological Rehabilitation Centre as well as a longer-term residency at Amarna Care home in Acomb in 2019.
