The trustees are pleased to report a grant award to Woodmeadow Trust.
Woodmeadow Trust is a pioneering Yorkshire charity based in Escrick near York. They take practical transformational action for nature and people by creating and inspiring others to create biodiversity-rich woodmeadow habitat. We 1) Lead by example, creating, and utilising unique woodmeadow habitat at our exemplar flagship site Three Hagges Woodmeadow and 2) Inspire others to plant and look after these exceptional ecosystems, the UK Woodmeadow Network. A key aim in the next three years is to continue and expand their Outdoor Education Programme at Three Hagges Woodmeadow specifically they want to maximise opportunities for children’s education by reaching disadvantaged groups in York and the surrounding areas
